Detective Inspector Andy Bell, of Bournemouth CID, said: “It is almost a week since Alexander was last seen leaving his home and we are very concerned for him.
“Following our enquiries, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of Alexander’s van being driven in the Christchurch area on Wednesday 4 February at 11.02am.
“I am appealing to anyone who knows Alexander’s whereabouts, has seen a man matching his description or his van to call Dorset Police urgently.
“If Alexander sees this appeal, I would urge him to please make contact to let us know he is safe. Your family is very worried about you.”
Anyone who sees a man matching Alexander’s description should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 8:30.
