Police concerned for female car passenger in Bournemouth
Police would like to hear from the occupants of the car or anyone who has CCTV footage relating to a dark-coloured VW Golf.
Dorset Police are concerned for the welfare of a woman, who was in a car being driven through Bournemouth at the weekend.
They received a report at 2.31pm on Saturday 19 April raising concern about a female travelling in a VW Golf in Endfield Road.
It is reported the vehicle left Endfield Road at speed and travelled along Malvern Road towards Charminster.
Chief Inspector Neil Third, of the Dorset Major Crime Investigations Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and we are working to identify the passenger and driver of the vehicle.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or saw a dark-coloured VW golf, possibly grey or silver, being driven by a man wearing a green hoodie around the time of the reported incident.
“I am also appealing to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage to contact us.
“Finally, I’m asking for the occupants of the vehicle to please get in touch. We just want to make sure you are okay.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250055344. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
