Police issue appeals for witnesses to various incidents in Dorset

18 September: A serious road traffic collision happened in the car park of Asda Stores in West Quay Road, Poole on Friday 18 September involving a silver Vauxhall Insignia and a 69-year-old pedestrian. If you saw anything or have dashcam footage, please get in touch quoting incident number 18:53.
15 September: A man on a bicycle wearing a face covering, a black rucksack and no clothes turned up at the Shell garage on Waterloo Road in Poole and asked the female shop worker serval times to perform a lewd act on him, before cycling off. This incident happened at around 4am on Tuesday 15 September and police are asking for any motorists travelling along Waterloo Road around the time of the incident with any relevant dashcam footage to get in touch with them. 14 September: renewed appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage after a serious injury collision on the A35 near the Axim Centre, Lytchett Minster involving a white Mitsubishi Outlander and white Keeway Logik motorcycle. Incident number 10:40.
13 September: A 14-year-old boy was assaulted in Poole at around 4pm on Sunday 13 September while sitting on an area of grass off the A350 Holes Bay Road opposite TUF Fitness Gym. He was with a friend when a man approached them and made an inappropriate sexual comment to them before walking away. The man returned about 20 minutes later and started to follow the pair before he stopped and punched the victim in his left eye, causing the victim to fall the the ground. The offender further pushed the victim, then forced his thumb into the victim’s eye. The offender is described as white, aged in his 20s, average build, short dark hair, wearing blue jeans and navy blue Puffer-style jacket. Occurrence number 55200137946.
5 September: A 16-year-old boy was walking along Hawkwood Road in Boscombe with a friend between 6 and 7pm on Saturday 5 September when they were approached by a group of three male teenagers. The group ordered the victim to take off his trainers but he refused, at which point one of the group produced a knife. The victim attempted to run off but was grabbed near the car park of Sainsbury’s and assaulted. He then took off his trainers and ran away. One of the offenders is described as white, aged around 14 years, slim build and possibly Italian with short black hair. He was wearing a dark blue hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms and was carrying a grey Nike bag. The offender who produced the knife is described as white, aged about 15, slim build, short dark brown hair and wearing a coat, shirt and grey or black tracksuit bottoms. The third member of the group is described as white, aged around 18, medium build, short brown hair and wearing a grey baseball cap, a shirt, blue denim jacket and jeans. A woman was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident. Please get in touch with police if you can help. Occurrence number 55200135046.
30 August: Two black women in their 20s were walking up Clarendon Road in Bournemouth at around 1pm on Sunday, 30 August when they approached a man sitting on a bench who appeared to be intoxicated. As they went to cross Poole Road into Queen’s Road, the man came up to them, put his face into one of the women’s faces and shouted racial abuse. The women ran across the road and the man walked off up Norwich Avenue West. He’s described in his 30s, medium height, average build wearing a white and blue top and jeans. An elderly man and women were walking behind the victims at the time of the incident, and a woman who was in what was believed to be a Jeep, shouted at the man to leave the women alone. Two men in their 20s in a grey car, possibly a Peugeot, also stopped to ask if the victims were all right as they went up Queen’s Road. The police would like to hear from these people as well as any other witnesses. Occurrence number 55200130352.
