Police plea for location of Volvo stolen from Wimborne
A silver Volvo was stolen from the car park in Wimborne’s High Street in August and police are keen to locate it.
Dorset Police are trying to locate a silver Volvo which was stolen from the car park in Wimborne’s High Street at approximately 10.15am on Monday 14 August.
A 32-year-old man from Fordingbridge has been arrested and released on police bail.
Officers are keen to find the vehicle and return it to its owner. The vehicle is a silver Volvo 940 estate with black wing mirrors, a tow bar, and RSPB stickers in the window.
Police Constable Kate Schofield, of the Dorset Rural Crime Team, said: “This has been a particularly distressing and inconvenient time for the victim, who has lost the use of their day-to-day vehicle.
“We carried out a number of enquiries in relation to this incident which led to a man being arrested. However, I am still keen to find the vehicle and return it to its owner.
“I would like to hear from witnesses or anyone with information that might assist us with our investigation. I also make a similar plea to any members of the public who may have seen a vehicle matching this description being sold in suspicious circumstances to please come forward.”
