The youngest pupils at Manorside Academy in Poole celebrated the Queen’s birthday with a tea party thrown by the ‘big year sixes’.
Resplendent in handmade crowns, the academy’s Reception children enjoyed games and activities before sitting down to a tea served by the oldest pupils in the school.
Associate Principal Sarah Rempel, said: “Our Year Six pupils really enjoyed organising and hosting this event.
“They also gave the Reception class a presentation on the Queen and her life to date.”
She added: “It was lovely to see our youngest and oldest pupils coming together to learn about the monarchy and also to have a lot of fun together.”
