Poole burglary: reward of up to £10,000 for recovery of stolen items
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a Poole burglary – with the victim offering to pay a percentage for each item’s return.
A large quantity of cash and a number of items of jewellery and silver were stolen by thieves from a property on Canford Cliffs Road sometime between 30 March and 2 April 2017.
The stolen items included a diamond encrusted cross necklace, a Boodle and Dunthorne diamond bracelet, a white and gold diamond ring with matching earrings, a white gold garnet and diamond ring and a large pearl choker-style necklace.
Police Constable Steven Donaldson, of Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The victim is offering to pay a percentage of the value of each item recovered as a reward, up to a maximum total of £10,000.
“This reward is only being offered for items returned before Thursday 1 June 2017.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders. I would like to hear from anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously around Canford Cliffs Road during the relevant times.
“I am appealing to anyone who has seen these items for sale under suspicious circumstances, or has purchased them in good faith, to please contact Dorset Police.”
