Poole buses damaged in separate incidents
If anyone has dashcam or CCTV footage or has any information on the vandalism of buses in Poole they should contact the police.
Buses travelling through three areas of Poole have been subjected to criminal damage in the past few days.
On Friday 22 July vandals smashed the windows of two Morebus vehicles as they travelled along Herbert Avenue and through Broadstone.
Further damage was caused to buses on Sunday 24 July and Monday 25 July on buses travelling in Herbert Avenue and Arne Avenue.
BCP neighbourhood inspector Danny Tamblyn said: “Not only have the actions of those responsible been reckless and dangerous, it has also cost the company money and impacted on the running of their services.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any of the damage being caused, caught anything of relevance on dashcam or home CCTV systems or knows who was responsible to please contact Dorset Police.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team will be continuing with their patrols in this area in a bid to stamp out this behaviour before someone gets hurt.”
