Poole dining and entertainment park to undergo £2.5m refurbishment
Tower Park, off Yarrow Road in Poole, has begun an eight-month programme of upgrades costing £2.5m.
Poole’s dining and entertainment destination Tower Park is to undergo an eight-month programme of upgrades. The management company are investing £2.5m in the refurbishment.
The makeover to Tower Park, which hosts a cinema, soft play centre, waterpark, several restaurants and more, is set to be completed by Spring 2025. The company says that the park and all of its brands will remain open and fully accessible throughout the refurbishment.
The transformation will include improvements to the public areas, featuring enhanced walkways, high-level decorating, new landscaping, and LED lighting. Plus, extra seating will be installed in the area.
The works will be undertaken by a local contractor, Scope. The refurbishment is intended to inject a new lease of life into the park whilst providing welcoming spaces for guests.
Anne Jolliffe, Tower Park’s general manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be starting the refurbishment at Tower Park. The destination has been entertaining both locals and tourists since opening in 1989, and we hope to enhance the experience for our guests by improving the outdoor environment.
“Tower Park will remain open throughout the refurbishment, and we will be keeping both our guests and the wider community up to date as we progress through the planned programme. We can’t wait to see the results next year.”
Tower Park welcomes over three million guests a year and is home to 13 leisure, activity and restaurant brands. The company claims that more brands are set to open at Tower Park in the coming months.
