Local people certainly got into the spirit of the Poole Goes Vintage event along Poole Quay over the weekend of 9 and 10 July, with a number of them dressed in outfits from decades gone by, particularly the 1940s and 1950s. There was nostalgic music and dancing – with a chance to join in – plus fashion shows and vintage cars.

Traders were selling vintage clothing and accessories and children were able to enjoy fairground rides and face painting.

In fact, a great deal of fun was had by all in the hot summer sun.
