Poole motorcyclist dies following collision
The 24-year-old man died three days after the collision and police are still asking for more witnesses to come forward.
A 24-year-old Poole motorcyclist has died following a collision on Dorset Way on Wednesday 29 October.
The collision between the black and blue motorbike and a red Jeep Avenger was reported to police at 4.26pm. It happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A3049 prior to the Old Wareham Road roundabout.
The motorbike rider was taken to hospital where he died on the evening of Saturday 1 November 2025. His family has been informed.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died following this collision.
“We owe it to them to conduct a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.”
