Poole Seaside Scramble postponed
The event organised by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance had been scheduled for 27 September at Baiter Park.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has reluctantly had to postpone its Seaside Scramble event which was scheduled for 27 September at Baiter Park in Poole.
This is due to unforeseen circumstances and ongoing works at the site which have affected the route, meaning that the service cannot deliver the event to the standard it would wish.
The sponsored 5K run was going to feature air ambulance-themed obstacles that participants would need to climb, crawl or scramble through.
The event was part of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’s 2ndHeli Appeal, which aims to raise the final £1m needed to purchase and fit out a second air ambulance helicopter.
However, the good news is that the event will be rescheduled for spring 2026. Participants will be notified of the date when it is confirmed.
For those who have already purchased tickets, their place can be automatically transferred to the spring event. However, those who would prefer to receive a refund should contact fundraising@dsairambulance.org.uk or call on 01823 669604.
