Poole security officer victim of racist abuse
If you were at the Delfino Lounge in the Dolphin Centre and witnessed this incident, the police would like to speak to you.
Dorset Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed a racially aggravated public order incident in Poole.
It was reported that at around 3.25pm on Wednesday 18 August a security officer was racially abused after attending reports of a man being abusive to customers at the Delfino Lounge in the Dolphin Centre in Falkland Square.
The man then left the scene on a bicycle.
Following enquiries, a 26-year-old Bournemouth man has attended for a voluntary police interview and has been released under investigation.
Police Constable Jade Harper, of Poole police, said: “Dorset Police takes all reports of hate crime very seriously and we are continuing to investigate this incident.
“I am appealing to any witnesses who were in the vicinity and have not already spoken to police to please come forward. I would also like to hear from anyone else with information that might assist our enquiries.”
