Public order incident at Bournemouth skate park – appeal for information
If you were witness to a reported public order incident at King’s Park in Bournemouth, police would like to hear from you.
Detectives investigating a reported public order incident in Bournemouth are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Three people have been arrested in connection with the matter.
The incident took place at around 3.50pm on Tuesday 13 July 2021, when Dorset Police was called to a report of a fight taking place at the Kings Park skate park. It was reported that some of those involved were believed to be in possession of knives.
A 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 18 and 23, all from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of affray, following a search of the area. They are assisting officers with their enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone who witnessed it and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.
“At least one person is reported to have been assaulted during this incident but no victims have so far been identified. I would urge anyone who has been the victim of an assault to please come forward and contact us.
“Local officers will be carrying out increased patrols in the area over the coming days and can be approached by members of the public with any concerns.”
