Pulford Publicity sponsors Christchurch Living Advent Calendar
On 14 December, Pulford Publicity sponsored the evening of entertainment to the tune of £650.
Running from 1–24 December, Christchurch Living Advent Calendar is in full swing. On 14 December Pulford Publicity sponsored the evening to the tune of £650.
Mad4Dance performed at their studio in Bargates, attracting a large audience. The charity being supported on the night was Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.
Ben Pulford, managing director of Pulford Publicity who attended the event, said: “Dorset Cancer Care Foundation is our charity of the year for 2025, so this was a perfect opportunity for our company to get involved and make a donation to round off our year of support.
“We have worked with Christchurch Rotary, producing the official event programme for the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar since its inception, and this was the first year we have been able to be an evening sponsor. The event does so much good at raising money and the profile of local charities, and we are proud to support it.
“Mad4Dance put on a great show, and I would like to thank them for hosting the evening.”
Additionally, a raffle raised over £100 for the charity.
After the performance, Ben drew the raffle tickets and made the cheque presentation of £650 to Emily Griffiths, charity manager of Dorset Cancer Care Foundation. She praised Pulford Publicity, calling their support “amazing,” not only for their monetary sponsorship, but also for the time and effort put into the free programme which promotes the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar.
Organised by Christchurch Rotary Club and other volunteers, with the support of Christchurch Town Council and BCP Council, the Living Advent Calendar supports a different charity every day from 1–24 December, with guaranteed sponsorship from local businesses or private individuals. This sponsorship is donated to a different charity every night. Local venues, performers, charities, local businesses and supporters provide their time and services for free. The pop-up performances around the town include choirs, dancers, singers and actors, and there’s still time to see them.
Check the website for the upcoming acts: christchurchlivingadventcalendar.org.uk. All the events are free to attend. This year’s main sponsor of Christchurch Living Advent Calendar is The Primrose Charitable Trust.
