With over six months of intensive training under their belts, Matt Sturgess, Paul Cave, Dave Welstead, Lee Crawford, Daffyd Wright, Josh Aplin, Mark Vukcevic, Harry Lauste and Martin Wiles will be flexing their muscles to help raise money for charity on Saturday May 18 by pulling a 2.5 tonne truck for 26 miles, starting at 8am at Boscombe Pier and finishing at Sandbanks at approximately 5pm.
Taking place in support or Lewis-Manning Hospice and Forest Holme Hospice, the ‘Big Pull For Cancer’ event is hoping to raise £10,000 for the two local charities.
Matt Sturgess of MP Stugess Ltd said, “We have all been friends for many years and we wanted to do something to support Lewis-Manning Hospice and Forest Holme Hospice as they have looked after our family and friends. We have been in training for about six months now and are all looking forward to the challenge on the day”
