Put your questions to BCP Council leader
People living in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole will be able to get answers from BCP Council leader Drew Mellor.
If you have any questions you’d like to put to BCP Council now is your chance.
Drew Mellor, leader of the authority is hosting the first live Q&A session of 2023.
The session takes place on Wednesday 25 January from 11am to 11.45am and will be open to questions on any subject.
Cllr Mellor said to residents: “This first live Q&A is an opportunity to ask me about what matters most to you.
“From our plans down at the seafront this year, to what we’re doing now to help during the cost of living crisis, I look forward to sharing how we’re making sure our area remains a safe, welcoming and vibrant place to live.
“Like other local authorities across the country, as well residents and businesses, we are also facing significant pressures on our budget.
“Good budget management means preparing for changes, even if we don’t need to make them. So talking to people now about how we can deliver services in a different way is an important part of our work ahead of next month’s budget setting.’’
Residents are invited to submit questions in advance via: LiveQandA@bcpcouncil.gov.uk or through comments on BCP Council’s social media posts.
There will also be the opportunity for people to ask questions during the Q&A within the comments section and to have them answered in real-time.
The session will be broadcast across the council’s main social media channels and is available to watch later for those unable to tune in live.
