The Garden of Remembrance at the Ferndown Branch of the Royal British Legion in Church Road has received a special commendation and framed certificate from the award’s panel of the South and South East in Bloom competition.
Part of Ferndown’s entry in the prestigious South and South East in Bloom competition, the garden made a major contribution to the town winning the silver award.
The pretty Garden of Remembrance was recently re-planted and revitalised as a fitting memorial for Ferndown’s Roll of honour and is a pleasant spot for those wanting to remember friends and loved ones, or to spend time thinking of those currently far away.
