Ringwood Eco Fair set for May
The event, to be held at The Furlong shopping centre and the Gateway Building, will bring together local environmental groups.
Awareness of the environment will be highlighted at the Ringwood Eco Fair on Saturday 9 May.
To be held at The Furlong shopping centre and the Gateway Building (beside the town council offices), it will be run by Ringwood RACE Against Time. The event will bring together local environmental groups, eco-conscious businesses and community organisations to inspire practical, planet-friendly living.
The Ringwood Eco Fair will feature a range of engaging activities and displays, including educational stalls, hands-on demonstrations and family-friendly activities designed to show how small everyday choices can make a positive impact on the environment.
Sarah Newland, a trustee of Ringwood RACE Against Time, said: “This is a chance for people to connect, learn and discover simple ways to live more sustainably while supporting local initiatives.”
The event aims to encourage conversations and action around climate responsibility and environmental care.
As a special incentive, RACE will have 50 dwarf fruit trees available for a minimum donation of £10 each.
There will also be a fantastic line-up of live music.
The Ringwood Eco Fair is free to attend and open to all ages. For more information, follow Ringwood RACE Against Time on social media or visit www.raceagainsttime.org.uk.
