Would you like to help make a life-size Roman centurion?
As part of the run up to the Wimborne History Festival, artist Darrell Wakelam will be at the Priest’s House Museum & Garden in Wimborne Minster constructing a life-size centurion.
Members of the public are invited along to give him a hand between 11 and 13 July.
Darrell works mainly with 3D models, sculptures and masks. He has provided art workshops for almost 25 years in schools, museums and theatres for a range of ages and abilities.
Visitors are welcome to drop in at any time from 1.30pm to 4pm on Monday 11 July, and 10.30am to 4pm on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 July. Those attending the workshop will be admitted to the museum for free.
The finished artwork will be on display at the museum during the weekend of the Wimborne History Festival on 16 and 17 July.
