Runway items run up funds at fashion show for Wimborne in Bloom
A fashion show staged by M&Co's Wimborne store on 22 September raised over £400 for the town's In Bloom funds as Wimborne in Bloom celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The second extra fundraising event held this year to mark Wimborne in Blooms 25th anniversary was a fashion show staged by M & Co in their Wimborne Store. Held on 22 September, it raised £419 for Wimborne in Bloom funds.
Some 50 people enjoyed the evening watching the models wearing M&Co’s new autumn and winter collection. The models included staff members of M&Co together with members of Wimborne in Bloom including the grandchildren of the secretary Susie Gatrell.
Store manager Marta Longmire said, “It was fun to do a fashion show for an organisation you believe in and it was a good night, most successful.”
Richard Nunn, chairman of Wimborne in Bloom thanked M&Co for a well organised event, for the models for giving up their evening and for all those who supported the occasion.
