The Julia’s House Santa Dash will take place this Sunday 27 November. The dash starts at Bournemouth’s Pier Approach and everyone taking part will receive a free Santa suit.

The 5k festive run (or walk) will raise vital money to help support the families of local, seriously ill children cared for by Julia’s House. You can register in advance or come down and sign up on the day. As well as a Santa suit, every participant will also receive a free mulled wine (or hot chocolate for the children) from the Alpine Lodge.

The event, which is held in partnership with Bournemouth Christmas Market, is also being backed by Julia’s House patron, Harry Redknapp, who said: “Join us at the Julia’s House Santa Dash on Sunday 27 November. Run, walk or skip along – just come along and have some fun.”

The route can be completed as a family group (children under 5 can join in for free) or individually. You even have the chance to win a PlayStation 5 worth around £500, simply by setting up a JustGiving page and raising a minimum of £75.
