Forest Holme Hospice Charity in Poole is inviting people of all ages to join them on Sunday 16 December for a leisurely festive charity walk in Wimborne beginning from Pamphill Cricket Ground at 10am.
Charlie James, fundraiser at Forest Holme said, “The annual Santa Stroll is always a great day, with wonderful views and hopefully a real boost of Christmas spirit.”
Registration for the event, which takes around one and a half to two hours to complete, is £10 for adults and £5 for children, which also includes a Santa hat.
Forest Holme Hospice Charity supports Forest Holme, part of Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and is reliant on the support of the community to fund exceptional specialist care for patients living with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses across Poole, Wimborne and The Purbecks. The charity needs to raise at least £850,000 every year to help enhance the NHS provision at the hospice.
