Wimborne Rotary’s sixth annual Great Santa Fun Run, sponsored by the Rotary club’s Business Partners, took place at Badbury Rings point-to-point course on Sunday 14 December. After a fun warm up more than 70 Santas, some with dogs, ran or walked the course. Between them they raised around £5,000 and they are still counting!
The club’s president Derek Radley said, “The weather was kind to us this year and it was great to see all ages having fun and at the same time raising funds for their own good causes. We will be back next year and look forward to meeting up with our Santas again and adding to the £40,000 that they have raised over the past six years.”
