Thieves forced entry into two outbuildings and caravans along Kingston Hill, Swanage and stole two scrambler bikes, siphoned fuel from other vehicles and took various tools.
The burglary happened some time between 8.30pm on Sunday 5 January and 5.30am on Monday 6 January.
One of the motorbikes, a 140cc Demon, is white and has a distinctive leopard print seat. The other is a 140cc Welsh Pitbike.
Police Constable Alex Macey, of Purbeck police, said: “I urge anyone who witnessed the burglary, has seen anything suspicious in the area at the time or has information about those responsible to contact Dorset Police.
I would also like to hear from anyone who knows of the whereabouts of the bikes or has been offered such items in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price.”
