Thousands of festival-goers will be drawn to Weymouth Harbour to enjoy one of the UK’s most renowned food festivals, bringing together fresh seafood, champagne and family entertainment.
The Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival returns on 9 and 10 July and clothing retailer, Weird Fish is on board for the sixth year running as a sponsor for the popular event.
With more than 100 stands over the two days, the festival will offer something for everyone. Highlights will include live cooking demonstrations and the opportunity to learn how to fillet a fish with Billingsgate Seafood Training School.
John Stockton, managing director of Weird Fish, said: “We are delighted to return as one of the main festival sponsors and are proud to be involved in an event which promotes a better understanding of the seafood available off our wonderful shores.”
Festival chairman, Roger Dalton, explained that the festival is in aid of The Fishermen’s Mission. He thanked Weird Fish for its continued support.
