This distinctive jukebox was stolen between 1am and 8am on Sunday 13 July 2014 at the Branksome Dene Chine Community Rooms, on the Branksome Dene promenade, Pinewood Road, Poole.
The offenders forced entry into the property using a nearby marquee pole to break a door window. They then stole a digital 70s style upright illuminated Wurlizer jukebox which had been put there temporarily to be used for a wedding.
“Also, the victim would like it to be known that the machine will completely shut down in a couple of months’ time and it will be useless. It needs specific manufacture updates that only its rightful owner can obtain to keep operating.
“I would urge anyone who has any information about this incident, or saw suspicious activity in the area, to come forward as soon as possible.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a jukebox like this one for sale in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price.
“Anyone with information that can assist the investigation is asked to contact the police in confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 13:147. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
