Serious injury collision on the A31 in East Dorset
If you witnessed the accident near the Roundhouse roundabout or have dashcam footage Dorset Police would like to hear from you.
A motorcyclist sustained potentially life changing injuries following a collision on the A31 near the Roundhouse roundabout on Saturday 4 December.
Police were called at 12.16pm to the accident in which the blue and white Yamaha motorcycle collided with a brown Renault panel van. The van driver was not injured.
Police Constable Mark Burton, of the traffic unit, said: “We understand both the motorcycle and van were travelling along the A31 from Bere Regis toward the roundabout when the collision occurred.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw either vehicle being driven prior to the collision, to please contact Dorset Police.
“I would also ask any motorists who were travelling along the A31 at the relevant time and may have captured the collision or vehicles on dashcam to please get in touch.
