Officers investigating a sexual assault onboard a bus travelling from Bournemouth to Christchurch have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
At around 2.45pm on Thursday 30 July, a seven-year-old boy was travelling on the 1a Yellow Bus at Gervis Road when a man inappropriately touched him.
The offender got off the bus along Barrack Road in Christchurch.
Police would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image who is described as five feet ten inches tall, aged in his 20s, clean shaven and with dark hair. He was wearing a dark coloured top, a brown hat, grey trousers and a silver or gold metal watch on his left wrist. He was carrying a brown leather bag and a black guitar.
Police Constable Paul Squires, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following my investigation, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to as part of my enquiries.
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises this man to please call me on 101.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
