Sycamore Base children from Verwood CE First School performed their own version of the favourite children’s classic “The Three Little Pigs” at their class assemblies this week. Miss Clare Murphy’s class performed theirs first to an audience of delighted parents. The five and six-year-olds certainly knew how to charm the crowds. They sang about the nasty wolf and how the little pigs had made their homes. All the houses and masks were made by the children, but they had one last thing to show off once the acting parts had been completed – their newly learnt skills in country dancing. The children thought the best part was the chocolate biscuits after the show and sharing the fun with their parents.
