The Julia’s House Santa Dash will take place on 27 November this year.

The fundraising event will take place along Bournemouth seafront and will be held in partnership with Bournemouth Christmas Markets.

Entrants can choose to walk or run the 5k route, with Santa suits being optional attire.

You can choose to complete the route on your own or as a family group (children under 5 can join in for free). And if you raise a minimum of £75, you will be in with a chance to win a PlayStation 5 worth around £500.

Julia’s House looks after the most seriously ill children in Dorset and Wiltshire, who need 24 hour care for their complex and often rare medical conditions. The charity’s dedicated team of nurses and carers are a lifeline of support, providing essential respite breaks to give exhausted families a break from round-the-clock care, and helping to prevent them from reaching breaking point.

The charity receives just eight per cent of its funding from the government, so signing up to the Santa Dash is a great way to help ensure this much-needed care continues for local families.
