People are being offered the chance to grant poorly children’s wishes, by climbing aboard a brand new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II.
The eye-catching vehicle was handed over to Together for Short Lives by TV mogul Simon Cowell, on behalf of Rolls Royce this summer.
Bournemouth-based Round Table Children’s Wish has been offered the use of the spectacular, purple Roller for the week of October 12-18, with all the money they raise through its hire, going towards their work.
Karen Winchcombe, Director of Round Table Children’s Wish (RTCW) explained: “We have been offered the loan of this car by Rolls-Royce motor cars and the organisation Together for Short Lives.
“They have teamed up to create the ‘Ready to Roll’ a campaign which is giving children’s and family charities the use of this amazing car to raise funds and awareness.”
Round Table Children’s Wish is based in Moordown and creates handcrafted wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.
The charity celebrates its 25th anniversary next month (October) and has granted thousands of wishes including trips to Disneyland Paris, toys and computer equipment and meetings with favourite celebrities.
Karen added: “We will be hiring the Rolls Royce out for £1200 for an eight hour day or £150 per hour, throughout the week of October 12-18.
“You can hire it for a wedding, to celebrate an important occasion, to promote your business or just to enjoy a touch of luxury – a chauffeur and fuel is included in the price.
“And everyone who does so will be helping fund more wishes for more poorly children.”
