Blesma, The Limbless Veterans charity is looking for adventurous fundraisers to take part the annual sky-diving event ‘Fall for the Fallen’.
This year is especially poignant as Great Britain marks 100 years since The Battle of the Somme, where almost half a million British soldiers either lost their lives or returned home with life-changing injuries.
Fall for the Fallen will take place at three locations across the UK on Saturday 02 July: the nearest is Netheravon in Wiltshire. Those taking part are asked to raise a minimum of £400, which will cover the cost of their tandem jump.
Zanika Fearon, community & events fundraising manager at Blesma says, “Fall for the Fallen is such a special event in the Blesma fundraising calendar. We aim to honour those who have fallen serving our country while raising money for those who live with life-changing injuries. Please help us to continue supporting injured veterans by signing up today.”
For more information and to sign up, please contact the Fundraising team on 0208 548 7089 or email events@blesma.org. Alternatively search for ‘Fall for the Fallen’ on the Blesma website at www.blesma.org.
