After 2017’s record-breaking pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk, BH Live and UK Productions are delighted to present Sleeping Beauty at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
Starring Jennifer Ellison (08-12 Dec) and EastEnders Rita Simons (14 Dec-06 Jan) as the wicked fairy Carabosse, alongside Bournemouth Pavilion pantomime favourites Olivia Birchenough (Milkshake!) as Princess Briar Rose and Noel Brodie as Silly Billy. Joining them will be Sarah-Jane Buckley (Hollyoaks) as the Good Fairy and David Ball as Nursie.
The 2.30pm matinee performance on Saturday 15 December will be a British Sign Language Interpreted performance. Customers are advised to speak with BH Live Tickets staff when booking tickets to ensure that they are seated in the correct location.
This years’ relaxed performance will be on Wednesday 19 December at 10.30am. This is a specially adapted and relaxed performance of our pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, for those who may benefit from a more relaxed environment including those with autism and dementia, as well as very young children, to make live theatre a fully enjoyable, immersive and engaging experience.
We will be making some minor changes to the pantomime for this performance as well as special effects, lighting and sound:
• The sound levels will be lowered
• The house lights although dimmed will be kept at 50%, so it is safe to leave the theatre
• Stage smoke will be reduced
• Doors will be left open; patrons are free to move around during the performance and take time out in a quiet area outside of the theatre auditorium.
Hot Rocks Restaurant and Bar is the proud sponsor of this years’ pantomime, Sleeping Beauty. With every purchased ticket for Sleeping Beauty, Hot Rocks offer a kids meal for just £1.00; which is donated to local charity, Julia’s House.
