Solve the Corfe Castle murder mystery
The Double Act Murder Mystery Walks take place at Corfe Castle in July and August with early booking recommended.

Historic Corfe Castle could be a rather scary place to be in the coming weeks – but in a good way.
The Double Act Murder Mystery Walks are back this summer.
The twilight walks with costumed characters take place in the shadow of the ruins of the castle.
The story is set in 1834 Hanoverian Britain at a time of great political, economic and social reform, and not everybody is happy with the changes.
The rural workforce is in open revolt and parliamentary constituencies have been reformed to eliminate the ‘Rotten Boroughs’ of Corfe Castle and Wareham.
Slavery has almost been abolished, and the Anatomy Act might have ended grave robbing, but a prominent local politician has been found shot whilst staying at a local coaching Inn.
So a senior officer of the newly formed ‘Peelers’ has been sent from London to add his groundbreaking deductive reasoning skills to the investigation.
What will he discover in this seething hotbed of unrest and radical thinkers?
All will be revealed along with many other surprises at Corfe Castle on 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 July and 4, 6 August at 7pm.
Please note, the walks involve steep rough paths and long grass, and although they finish before dark, anyone taking part does so at their own risk.
The starting point is in the North Castle Field, opposite the Castle View National Trust car park, just north of the Corfe Castle ruins on the A351.
Permission has been granted for customers to use the car park for the evening.
Alternatively, there is morebus – Purbeck Breezer 40 – getting off at National Trust Welcome Centre.
Due to the popularity of the past walks and a necessity to restrict numbers for safety it is strongly recommended that early bookings be made by purchasing tickets from:
www.ticketsource.co.uk/double-act-drama-group.
Tickets are just £5 a head (under fives free).
There may be a few tickets on the gate but cash only due to the poor phone signal.
