Around 35 people took part in a litter pick on Monday (14 April) at the Heatherlands in Ferndown with a mound of rubbish and old bikes being collected at Ford Lane flats and the edges of Ford Lane recreation ground in less than two hours.
Adults and children joined district and town councillor Steve Lugg, PC Julian Humphries, county councillor Ian Smith and town councillor John Baxter for the tidy up. Partners involved included FTC, EDDC, the Police, Urban Heath Partnership, McDonalds, Synergy HA and the Dorset Waste Partnership.
