The FitSteppers of Wimborne and Verwood are once again raising funds for their two local charities, Julia’s House Children’s Hospice and the Bournemouth Multiple Sclerosis Centre.
The Wimborne event is on Tuesday 13 May, 6.15pm, at the Community Learning Centre, (opposite the Model Village).
The Verwood event is on Monday 19 May, 7.30pm, at Hillside School, Hillside Road.
FitSteps is the hugely popular fitness workout, devised by two of the stars of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite. Although it is a fitness class, all the routines are based on the ballroom and Latin dances from Strictly, so it is fantastic fun.
Laura Swabe runs ‘Strictly FitSteps’ and says, “We call it fitness with style. And because we are enjoying the routines so much, getting fit is not a chore. It is a pleasure!”
If anyone wants to join the fundraising group, go along to either venue. The donation is £5 per person. For further information, give Laura a call on 01202 897566 or you can find details at www.strictlyfitsteps.org.uk
