Parley Golf Centre has launched new, cut-price group lessons to encourage more people to play the game.
Beginners, improvers or established golfers can now get expert tuition after work.
The ‘sign-up and swing sessions’ are also designed to build up the social side of the sport that is part of its attraction.
During the sessions the etiquette of the game will be explained as well as the technical elements.
The nine-hole course is ideal for a round after work and the lessons will also be held at a time when busy professionals can take part.
Marcus Urbye said: “We have become aware that many people would like to take up golf or have some tuition, but can’t find the time.
“So we are offering cut-price lessons in the evenings to encourage more people to the club so they can be introduced to golf or improve their game.”
“The only other expense is the hire of the range balls – which are discounted – and they are new and the best available.
“The course is there for those who want to just pitch-up and play, and we welcome anyone to the wonderful surroundings.”
