A-Level, vocational and T-Level results are revealed today with BCP Council congratulating students as they plan their futures.
Students across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset have received their A-Level, Applied General, Technical and T-Level exam results today.
Queen Elizabeth’s School students in Wimborne, Dorset collected their exam results on 17 August with the vast majority getting what they required.
Headteacher of QE School in Wimborne, Katie Boyes, said that following a very tough two years, the pupils have achieved some impressive A Level results.
With A Level results coming out this week and GCSE results next week, local pupils will be given advice at open days.
Canford School just outside Wimborne says many of its grades are higher than those of 2020 pre-pandemic.
Events are to be held at the North Road and Lansdowne sites, where independent careers advisors will be on hand.
With students receiving their A-level results today, Dorset Council is issuing guidance for those who are unsure of their next step.
Almost a third of sixth form results at The Arnewood School in New Milton were A Level grades of A* or A, and well over a half of the results were B grade or better in the year when no exams were taken due to Covid-19.
