The all-female bluegrass quintet will appear in the new venue of the Grade II listed St Ambrose Church at the top of Alum Chine on 16 October.

Jo Elkington and Leo MacKenzie have taken over the reins of the club from stalwart Paul Burke who ran it for 23 years.

A scheme to protect our coastline for the next 100 years is to start on 26 October and will see the replacement of eight timber groynes.
