The museum is re-opening with a ‘big bang’ on 5 November — but before that, people can visit to contribute their feedback.
The Woodpecker Play Area has been refurbished, and the launch event is taking place at 10am on Tuesday 28 October.
ElderFest will take place at Twynham Secondary School, Sopers Lane, on Monday 27 October and entry is free.
The investment comes from BCP Council, JPMorganChase, Bournemouth Airport and University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
