Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RBCH) are set to merge in October under the umbrella of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust – and people are invited to say how they would like to be treated.
Due to Covid-19, the majority of volunteers were temporarily stood down from the Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitals – but now they are being welcomed back as the hospitals are seeing an increase in outpatients as well as a return of visitors.
Although strict hospital visiting restrictions have been relaxed there are still constraints that visitors must adhere if they wish to see a patient at the Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitals.
The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals and Poole Hospital’s NHS Heroes campaign has received donations amounting to £259,701 since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To help minimise the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and deal with any upturn in patient numbers caused by the outbreak, the following changes will be made by the NHS in Dorset.
