Keen for Swim Bournemouth to replenish its funds, Jemma Chown is to walk a marathon to raise money for the club.

In the last year businesses in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have been supported by grants amounting to £125 million.

The charities at Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital are to join forces to become University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.

If your organisation would like to take part in this outdoor spring event, you can apply for a grant from BCP Council.

This will bring the total of community safety officers to 14 across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

With people being more active during the lockdowns, parents, carers and children are being encouraged to walk, cycle or scoot to school.

Fourteen food projects in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch received funding amounting to £80,000 through a council partnership.

There are big plans for Waterman’s Park in Somerford, Alexandra Park in Parkstone and Winton Recreation Ground.
