Charity needs help to host Christmas party for Dorset young carers
A virtual event is being held for more than 600 young carers in addition to goody bags being delivered to every child.

The event, which opens on 18 November, features a whole host of entertainment in addition to multiple light displays.
Sadly for the second year running, the popular Broadstone Christmas parade will not be held in December.
After last year’s absence, the popular event returns and the town will be lit up by 100 festive-themed illuminations.
The people of Wimborne and the surrounding area will be delighted to hear that the Save the Children Christmas parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday 11 December.
Plans are afoot for Christmas and 2022, and the committee is keen for more people in Fordingbridge to become involved.
Planning is under way for this new festive event for Christchurch in December 2021 – an event which had to be cancelled in December 2020 because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Ringwood Town Council’s recreation, leisure and open spaces committee received a report at its last meeting on the Christmas events in the town.
Christmas is just around the corner, and Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service wants you to stay safe this festive period.
As well as Winter Wanderland, Father Christmas has been touring the town, and there are drive in community carol services.
