Following the outdoor trail of spectacular lights at Kingston Lacy is a special way to start the festive season.

Ringwood is bouncing back for Christmas now the major traffic disruption is over, with a variety of festive events.

TV celeb Debra Stephenson will turn on the Christmas lights in Westbourne on 3 December ahead of a month of seasonal festivities.

The Holly King, the Ivy Queen, and the Lord of Misrule will all be part of this new Yuletide Festival for Christchurch.

The new Christmas Maritime Light Festival will run from Saturday 19 November – Monday 2 January celebrating the town’s maritime heritage.

From hearts and flowers to flames and illuminated tunnels Kingston Lacy near Wimborne in Dorset is aglow with lights.

There was a warm welcome from the crowd for the switching on of the town’s lights, despite the chilly temperatures.

The popular event, which had to be cancelled last year, will take place this Saturday 27 November at 4.30pm.

Fordingbridge Town Council have announced a reduced scale light switch on event for 2021 to be held on 27 November in Market Place.

The lights are on in Tuckton, Pokesdown, Southbourne, Boscombe, East Cliff and West Cliff and Westbourne.
