Commonwealth Day took place on Monday 10 March and the town of Wimborne Minster marked it with a ceremony.

A ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Commonwealth Charter took place outside Wimborne Town Hall on Monday 13 March.

County Hall in Dorchester will just be one of many places across the Commonwealth to mark this special day.

This year there was no audience to the raising of the Commonwealth Day flag outside Wimborne’s Allendale Centre.
