The NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has delivered more than a million autumn Covid jabs in a week since national bookings started.
Millions of eligible people will now be offered a Covid vaccine from 11 September, in line with the latest expert guidance on the new Covid variant.
Those eligible are the over-75s, people living in a care home and those aged five and over with a weakened immune system.
Some walk-in opportunities are still available during February, with bookable appointments available during the year.
The booster programme ends on 12 February, so time is running out if you want to get a Covid-19 jab at a pop-up clinic.
It isn’t too late for people to get both their COVID and flu jabs and information is available from dorsethealthcare.nhs.uk.
Since the start of September, 22,000 people have received their Covid-19 booster jab and those eligible are urged to take up the invitation.
