In its 178th year, Dorset County Show 2018 welcomed more than 55,000 visitors on 1 and 2 September at Dorchester Showground entertaining local families and Dorset’s agricultural community.
Dorset Agricultural Society has elected a female chair for the first time in its 178-year history.
Organised and run by Dorchester Agricultural Society, the 177th Dorset County show attracted thousands of people over the weekend of 2 and 3 September at the Dorchester Showground.
Celebrating the best of rural life and attracting more than 60,000 people each year, the Dorset County Show, which began in 1840, will take place this weekend from Saturday 2 September to Sunday 3 September at the Dorchester Showground.
Dorchester Agricultural Society announced livestock commentator and agricultural consultant Will Hyde as the Dorset County Show secretary.
