Five young people received recognition at the Dorset Chamber and Dorset and Somerset Training Provider Network ceremony.

Dorset Chamber and Dorset and Somerset Training Provider Network is holding its Apprenticeship Awards ceremony on 15 May.

Local employers have until 30 March to nominate trainees for these awards with an award ceremony to be held on 15 May.

High-flying apprentices were recognised as winners of the Dorset Apprenticeship Awards at a ceremony attended by dignitaries.

Apprentices have just under six weeks to enter the awards which will be presented in five categories on 17 May.

Apprentices and their employers across the private, public and charitable sectors are invited to enter the awards.

Despite the present gloomy economic climate, Dorset Chamber is looking towards 2023 with optimism for a three-day business festival.
