Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who has dashcam footage of the collision which took place on Friday 19 December.

Scammers are damaging cars in the area in order to buy them cheaply.

The collision took place on Saturday 13 December on the B3078 near the junction of Lumber Lane in Knowlton.

A number of people were in the area on the evening of Thursday 18 December, and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.

Lewis Smith, who had previously been found guilty of rape, now faces a jail sentence of five years and six months.
