There were four reports of damage to vehicles travelling in Piddlehinton in West Dorset on the evening of Monday 15 September.
Numerous offences were identified when the Dorset Roads Policing Team used an unmarked heavy goods vehicle.
Dorset Police are hoping the driver will come forward, as well as anyone who witnessed this incident on Saturday 13 September.
The theft occurred in Church Street on the evening of Monday 8 September and police are appealing for witnesses.
The two vehicles will be based at Dorchester and Ferndown and tour around the county to visit consistent locations and dates throughout the month.
